Minecraft Username: glotai Brief Description: Mobs stack to the newest mob spawned and not the already stacked group Instructions: Go to a mob spawner Look at how they stack How many times did you recreate this?: Many times Result: The already stacked mobs are stacking to the new mob spawned from the mob spawner, which results to mobs getting tp'ed around a lot Expected Result: The new mob spawned from a mobspawner would go into the already stacked mob group, so they don't tp around all the time Evidence:
maybe related - both zombie sizes are stacking together. this makes for some strange glitching...even the little guys on chickens
This also happened to me. A stack of mobs comes to me, a new one spawns and the stack adds to the new one at his spawn position. Hard to grind mobs that get "ported away" by stacking.
I will be online in 5 hours I think. If possible check my homes out of database. /home spawner is where I recognized the problem. There are 8 spawner together. 4 skele 3 zombi and 1 spider. Specify the skeletons behave like written above. It seems like it happens more often, the further they walk away from the spawner.
Yes it works now. I believe they don't stack because you only got 3 zombies there. they tend to stack at 5 as far as i can tell
There is a stack of zombies in the lower right corner and there are 3 single zombies that didn't stack... Not how it should work like. @glotai @andrewkm
@glotai im no native english. im german. perhaps you can explain it better to andrew if you see it yourself. tp to me
@andrewkm after rebuilding a bit, everything seems fine. glotai thinks the problem appears with the time between the zombis getting into drowned and spawning enough new zombies. tested a few minutes without drowned and everything works fine as it should i think.
