simple, quick suggestion.
New command, /modhelp [message] sends a [message] to all online staff members.
Easy way to get help from mods super quick if you need it.
p.s. make sure its some color that stands out

I really like the idea.
The only downside is, it can be easily abused. Players can spam without stop.
I think there should be a cooldown limit, if this command is used.-

It would be better if this just went as a message into staff chat.
Think about it, if someone spams it then it would be really annoying.
Also you could have all the staff answer at once and don't know which to answer! If the message gets sent to staff chat, all the staff see it and can ban if it is spam, or can call "dibs" on who gets to help you. This would make this more painless and quick. -

As far as i know, the plugin 'essentials' has the command /helpop and the message goes to all those who have the permission to reveive the message. So for example, I do "/helpop Player 1 is spamming me money" or whatever the cause is, If revan has the permission, or any other staff member she will be able to see the message. I think that a simple "re-code" of that command would be a better approach.

Yeah, I originally thought its own channel with a purple color would be best, but then I remembered that /ch admin is purple so that might not work, idk, but a chat channel for it would be great

Why not just pm a mod+? We are always willing to help….
Can be abused unless a certain rate of messages is allowed.
It will have a mod to get on the case rather then having a bunch jump in at the same time.
If the case is something related to spamming money/pm'ing or whatever, file a complaint, it would be handled better and theres proof of it actually happening.-

I think it would help becuase sometimes i have to message 3 different mods to get a answer. I still <3 the mods though. I understand they are very busy.

several reasons
- AFK mods lead to longer response times
- Situation may need a different mod than is pm'd
- User may not know how to figure out if any mods are online let alone their usernames

This can be abused - doesn't matter if it is in PMs, a new channel, or to Staff chat. A time limit will cause issues if you need to send multiple messages to cover what your issue is. A message limit would be hard to find. As well, if most knew of this command, it would be used so much that it would be like an entire new channel for Staff to watch, even with limits set. People will be complaining about pointless things all the time. "omfg he killed me in pvp when I was not ready give me my stuff back pls!!111!!"
As it is, there is already too many channels for Staff to watch. This will just add unnecessary messages, not to mention Staff having prioritizing issues when it comes to helping people. It really isn't too hard to PM a few Staff members until you find one that isn't busy, to ask in Global for a Staff member, or to go on the forum and post a complaint.
If any system like this were to be added, it would have to be a ticket system; a system like the Report system on the forum. Once you send a "ticket" (report), it would send out a notification for a "mailbox" (report queue), which would either send an alert to all Staff, or require a command check (similar to /mail, or when any command is typed and you see the inbox has something new). Staff members would be able to claim a "ticket" (report) to confirm that someone is handling it.
Problem with that type of ticket system is that it could be a pain to develop, or find a good plugin that already does it.-

I think this is what you are referring to, with a ticket system. Not saying this plugin should be used, just pointing it out as I have seen this used on other servers. -
Addressing the above by color
:::::::::::::: I would not suggest a time limit, I agree with you there. However, the fundamental thing behind this command is that staff need to have discriminatory control over it. if they think someone is abusing it, they should be fully within their rights to address that issue however they choose.
:::::::::::::: I believe this may be a problem early on after implementation, people excited about the new command, but this would die down soon enough and it would be used only as needed.
:::::::::::::: I completely disagree with this. these messages will show up regardless of whether or not we have this command. the difference is that with this command, 80% of these will be in the visible-to-staff-only command as opposed to 100% still being in global chat. staff already have to prioritize or pass problems on to other staff members so they can deal with a problem they are already dealing with. I think that having it separated will actually make it easier to organize what you want to do as a staff member and certainly easier to note when someone is in need of help.-

Those messages will show up normally AND show up with the command, therefore increasing the amount of messages clogging chat. Users who know of the command will not only use it, but use Global and/or Local, too, to get as much attention as absolutely possible. This is human nature...especially with younger users. They will use any and all methods possible, not caring if they already used one that will work. People seek attention.
As well, many users are highly introverted, shy, intimidated, etc. by the userbase; by nature more people will use a /modhelp command if it existed, because now they can ask questions without being judged or getting anxious. In the end, there will be more messages everywhere, causing chat being clogged for Staff.
...also, what is wrong with help messages showing up in Global (or Local)? The majority of questions people ask Staff can be answered by just about anyone (which is good, not bad), and help for user-based complaints can be enlightened by the userbase, too (Staff is open enough about punishments and procedure/punishments and procedures are easy to learn when seen a lot, which unfortunately happens a lot).
Lastly, if these help messages appear in Global already, and Global is global to all, and Staff are watching it already (if they are not AFK), why does there need to be a /modhelp command? The only difference I see is a different color text and increased messages clogging up chat for Staff. More than enough Staff are watching Global and respond - if they aren't, they need to log out when going AFK, we need more Staff, a user should try contacting individually, make a complaint thread, or ask the userbase. -

Guys i gueas that if you do this you will have to add some punishment if someone start faking messages or spaming or also saying stupid thinks like "hi mods" if you guys do this it would be a very good idea. I suggest several actions to be taken if someone does some of the things mentioned before

Sorry if someone stated this before, but with my experience with commands and such, you can control it. It's almost like LWC where you can control 100 locks to this rank, etc. Plus, if a builder is needing help in global, it's almost impossible for it to even be noticed.
+1, great idea.-
