I have been looking around for awhile now to see if there was a mod that could add more foods and recipes and i have found one:
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/288 ... r-166v041/
I dont know if its compatible or anything but i would like to here people's thoughts on it.
Some of the new foods:
Raw Beef
Tomatoes
Ketchup
Lettuce
Bacon
Bread (Sliced and whole)
Salt
Mayo
Chicken Leg
Mutton
Cheese
Onion
Pickle
Hotdogs
Burgers
It will also add salt as a mineable ore and you can create a salt hoe which i used to plant and farm tomatoes and lettuce.
i just think this would be a nice little addition to when your going out on expeditions and on hunts.

It would be a nice addition, but we need a server side mod instead of a client side mod. We can only wait for all these mods to be server side.

If anything it'd be sweet if Mushrooms could cure like a heart each, and Sugarcane half a heart :D

Itemcraft is a great mod, but it requires all clients to have that mod installed unfortunately. I hope they can find a way around this problem in the future.
