-1. That would limit who could play. Plus @oxwood2 it always comes from an official place. Andrew doesn't just make the odds.

I wouldn't trust staff to set the odds to the website. Many staff in positions of power have abused their power and they will continue to do so. Giving them another chance to abuse power is a bad idea.

 

They can also abuse a variety of other commands like applying ranks takeing $ out of people's bals doing lwc's for personal gain and when the bank 1st came out, in pretty sure dewsy handled the deposit apps, who was a mod, not an owner. My point it yes, it is abusable but so are many things, why this is different, idk. I would think Phys trusts 1-2 staff for this. Staff were hired for a reason

 

I think for this reason we'd restrict the people in charge to GameAdmins or higher, and only if Andrew/Dewsy/Phys/Nicit trusts them.
Those last two people I mentioned should get sportsbook permission, for starters.

 

First two aren't GAs, but they would be useful. But Back does bet a lot.

 

I'd be fine if nicit/dews/oreo did it but look at the last staff to abuse powers. Both were game admins.

I'm just gonna say, do you know how easy it is to see who made the event and who bet on them? Oh you made it then bet on it? Let me doublecheck the website to make sure you put the right odds. Oh you did? Ok no abuse. Oh you didn't? Abuse, instant kick from less than 2 minutes of work. @oxwood2

 

You don't have to bet on an event to abuse it, for example you could tell your friends to bet. That would result in checking every single event which would just take more time and hastle than having just Andrew doing them. If you give sports book permissions to other people make sure they are ABSOLUTELY trusted

 

Only one I would trust to do them would be Nicit,
No offence GA's.

But i would prefer Nicit to do all the other things he is currently doing and not bother about Sportsbook.
As he does do a lot already. Don't wanna burn him out... xD

 

I'm still against this. Buuuut i think we need to have more faith in staff.

tl;dr Staff team = No. Nicit = Yes.
