Hello @Sharkykzn - No - we are not currently needing co-mayors for PumpTrump and I have edited the post to split the two towns to eliminate confusion. We are still needing Co-Mayors for PixelMania and many of the other towns listed.

@thehockeykids2 - Thank you for your question and even though I noticed from your signature that you do not play any more I will be happy to do my best to explain the concept of how we are making money from this.
First, all of us at "TeamIsle" are dedicated to giving back and helping to provide a fun place to play minecraft in a multi-player environment. The way we make money is to sell perms to the many towns that are a part of the IsleTradingCo. In addition, many of our team members have shops or business interests that make them money individually as well and being part of a team gives them exposure to many more players than any of us could expect on our own.
On a personal level for me, I created IsleTradingCo to provide a place for players that are committed to helping out the community and have a long term playing strategy of growth a place to learn and succeed. I will be honest here, this was created more to provide a place for like minded players to be together to help each other out than just making money. The towns provide players that may not have the resources to earn a fair return and it is my hope they will use this opportunity to grow and succeed in whatever their individual goals are.
The first two posts here also should help explain how we work and I will be happy to answer any other questions you may have.

 

That is correct - in fact, I require a small investment in order to be a co-mayor. The returns generated are from perm sales although I reserve the right to distribute gifts as I see fit. I have also been known to waive any share of perms I would receive. Not everyone is great at sales but instead are gifted in other ways and are rewarded on an individual basis.
In all, I try to be as fair as possible. It is a game so I really just want everyone to have fun!

 

Hey @TaylorBros22 - Of course this application is accepted and the contract is ready for you when you are. I personally think this can be an awesome prebuilt town and am glad you have decided to "take it on".
Oh, and yes I do trust you - the contract is just for paperwork and to keep things clean.

 

@Nyancats33 Your application has of course been approved and the contract is written. Please note the changes as it is only a 10k investment and 50% split and all building will be my responsibility since not all of us can build :)

 

Triiicktown has been sold and is no longer part of the IsleTradingCo Nation. Westenj is much better able to utilize that piece of land. I wish them the best of success.

 

@Necket - Thank you for your interest in joining IsleTradingCo. In order for you to succeed, I hope you understand that I need you play on ecc for a while and get experience with how the server works. Reading all the rules and guidelines, especially the Wiki, will help you decide what is best for you and how you would like to play. Please consider reapplying when you get more experience and have played for a while.
