Help me peoples, I really need a new phone, although I have used 3 phones in the past a owned a Samsung galaxy s3, and a Chinese waterproof phone, and my main one which is a HTC desire HD. I need help choosing a phone which is around the £300 price mark, about $450, it needs to have a big screen, have 4g support, and must be an Android. I am leaning towards getting a Samsung note 2 or the new HTC one. Thanks

Get a good sony or HTC, samsungs have the nack to have a shitton of battery failures within a year of purchase, and you'll have to jump through a lot of hoops to get anything fixed. Sony and HTC provide quality for a good price.

The iPhone is the thinnest, highest resolution, has one of the fastest processes in a smart phone today!!!! Not to mention it the top selling (iphone 3gs). I would recommend it because it is compatible with with all tablets and computers, unlike some Androids... It also has the largest app market in the world! A great selection! Even google puts their apps on the market! Plus it has 4g HTC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree but the price is very high and screen is simply to small, and for the app market I am looking for an android as it is "easier" to develop apps for and put them on the market. I have used an Iphone and the customization levels are low, with and android if you get bored of the way it looks simply download a different ROM or using a different launcher.
Alright, I have decided to get the new HTC one as my friend can somehow get it at a very reduced price.
Been waiting for the new HTC one for weeks now, still has not been delivered as htx has "run out of parts"
SNEAKY!!! get the galaxy note 2!!! lol it is the best phone I have had by far. rather that or get a galaxy s4.
Mate if you want a phone that will work with everything, I mean the best coverage the best service the Best everything... then get a Motorola DynaTAC 8000X; This phone can do "Anything" heck it could probably even travel back in time hypothetically speaking. That phone isn't even in any retail stores cause it's so damn powerful it makes rich people look poor, Check it out. Or just get a HTC One.
