How about a nerf to Depth Strider 1? Then SG 1 wouldn't be like a scene from Jaws

 

+1; When swimming in water with these boots, you're super fast. I think nerfing these boots so you don't swim as fast would be beneficial to SG players.

 

EA is actually the perfect counter to bfr in my opinion. As well as boats can be used to get to a person with the kit. (Also using the bow and having precision counters ea pretty well).
I don't think a nerf is needed *yet*.

 

since the new items were added i have not seen a single boat in sg.

 

The problem with the bow thing is that when someone goes all the way under water it is nearly impossible to hit them. due to the fact that water slows the arrow down

One of the three things should be done about this situation in my opinion.

1. Nerf ea's depth strider III to depth strider I.
If needed, nerf pf's thorns as well. Thorns doesn't really do any damage in sg anyway.

2. Add boats back to sg.
This would make it possible for a user to catch someone with depth strider boots.

3. Replace sg arena 1.
Sg arena 1 is pretty much all water, making it extremely hard for someone to catch a user with ds boots.

This is really all I can think of at the moment. One more idea would be to replace thorns III in pf with depth strider III, but that seems a bit far-fetched.
