In Game Name: LaggyTryHardWhat part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for: Network WideShort title for your suggestion: New Workbenches for ExtCreationsWhat are you suggesting: With the new different types of workbenches introduced into 1.14, i thought it would make sense for members with the ExtCreations feature (or the + / ++ editions) to have access to them through the command: Cartography Table: /ct Grindstone: /gr Loom: /lo StoneCutter: /scWhy is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?: Since we already have access to /wb and /anvil, may as well complete the new set.Other information: Of course the commands could be /anything, the purpose of this suggestion is to just have access to these new workbenches through commands.Plugin or custom addition: Not sure, but hopefully the one currently allowing /wb can be edited to accommodate for new ones. One suggestion per form: I Understand.
I think they are already a thing, just not quite implemented yet to the public. When I do /loom, it says I don’t have access to that command, not Unknown command
yeah! ive noticed that as well haha hoping it would be open by the release but may as well post the suggestion
I am fully on board with this suggestion. I would be a nice addon to the current ext-creations package! +7.5
...I'm gonna play devil's advocate for a second. Cartography Table - I don't see an issue with this to honest. +1 Loom - Tested it and you can't make banners without a loom, so sure why not. Grinder - I honestly don't know why the hell you would need this. Minus removing curses its kinda stupid Imo so I don't think it would help anyone really. Now heres where we reach my issue. Stonecutters. Sooo heres the thing. The three at the top, you can't do those things without them. Stonecutters on the other hand, you can do all of those things with /wb it just won't be as effective. In WB its 6 stone for 4 stairs. Which means 1.5 stone per stair. In Stonecutter its 1 stone per stair. Its cost saving and time saving. I honestly think we should have to work to get that. I don't have /brewingstand. I have to get the materials and build it. Just saying, I think out of everything stonecutters should be something you actually have to make and place and move and deal with like a normal person. (I'd like it noted that I'm saying this as someone who has ExtCreations++ )
I'm not sure I really understand your perspective. We paid real world currency to be able to skip the mini grind and focus on the large ones. It doesn't make sense to exclude a workbench from the command list because it gives you tiny benefit of a 1:1 ratio instead of a 1.5:1? What?! We don't make more money off it either because stairs are worth substantially less than the full block itself and all it does is simply speed up the process of building. As someone who literally spends the whole day building- it would be greatly beneficial and only makes logical sense to include this item into the list of commands. Should also note: /brewingstand doesn't make sense cause it takes time to craft that resource. The same reason why we don't have /furnace- you cant exit that screen because your items are going through a time delayed process.
I agree with laggy’s statement. This is meant to save time and an inventory slot. If you are using a stonecutter, you are clearly using it for building. There isn’t any economic advantages to using it versus crafting, so why disclude it
