It never says you can't die anywhere, I don't even see how you came to that conclusion.

 

I think this is allowed. You die and the items are free. I think it should be a challenge in wilderness to survive and if u then die and can always take the items back isn't it a challenge anymore. This is my opinion, be careful in wild and stay focused.

It is a donation feature that puts the stuff you have in a chest if you die. The chest will also be locked if it is in main world.

 

I feel like you made this just because of something personal that happened to you, and didn't even think about wether or not this would be possible on the server.
