That's right, NoU.1 ♫ No U Music Station ♫ is looking for a new co-host! Currently our music station in Teamspeak is hosted and dj'd by myself, annyonion. However I am looking for someone who can help provide vocal recordings of weekly news/updates, advertisements, events and more.
♫ The Task
The job is simple. You will be given an outline of what you need to read. Note the main show sessions will NOT be scripted, you must be someone who can adlib well to an organized outline. You can record as many times as you'd like, then send me the final recording for me to mix into the show's playlist. No actual DJ'ing or mixing is involved on your part, just recording your vocal readings of the outlines and recording whatever else I need you to do.
There is a possibility of performing live shows/interviews on air as well which requires your best talking skills as a host. You will also be given scripts for advertisements and special events (where scripts are preferred over adlibbing). We will go over these on Skype and connect to each other's computers using programs like Bitsync to gain access to our recording files.♫ Requirements

- A clear, strong voice that can be easily heard and understood.
- A fun, positive attitude that takes this role seriously.
- A passion for EcoCityCraft and for sharing news & info to other people.
- A high quality microphone - preferably a studio condenser mic or something similar to the snowball.
- An audio-recording software to record your tracks (you can get Audacity for free if you need one).
- A Skype account for communication.
- Teamspeak account and the Teamspeak program.
- Time and flexibility to get recordings in on time and when needed.
- Experience is not required, but any past vocal work you've done would also come in handy and be worth mentioning.
Recognization for being a co-host on ECC's #1 International Music Station. It will all be volunteer work, but you will be providing and playing a very important role in the production of this music station.♫ Recording Demo

Why do you want to join?: This will add more experience to my field , Also this is what I have been waiting for, bringing joy to ECC users by doing what I love. Basically, this won't be a job for me because it's in a field that I love. You never have to work a day in your life if you love what you do.

Why do you want to join?: I have tons of fun in TS normally, and being a DJ would be pretty awesome imo. I also love doing interviews, and the sorts.
Do you have any past experience/work? If so, please list: I used to do the hardware/software end of a radio station in vancouver with my dad. No experience on air though.

Why do you want to join?: Something interesting to do and another way to get involved with ECC and the community.
Do you have any past experience/work? If so, please list: I used to do the audio newscast at my high school a couple years back. In Communications Tech, I "majored" (term used in this class specifically and not an actual major) in Graphic Design and Audio Recording. I once recorded and edited an hour and a half long audiobook for this class. This took me 6 weeks of in-studio time where I grew to hate my own voice and audio editing, and thus I don't dabble so often anymore. (As a side note, my friends loved the audiobook and my voice in it, so the hatred of my own voice is mostly just me and how long that project took me.)
What Microphone/Equipment do you use?: My headset, which is a Sennheiser PC 320. It's not the best, and it does pick up a tiny bit of background noise. I am considering picking up a better headset/audio stuff when I get my new desktop, but haven't decided for sure yet.

Wow I am really impressed by these submissions! It will be difficult for me to select a co-host.
I may select several for other purposes (hosting a certain segment such as lotto/sg chart reading, ore/farm prices, etc) and to keep for recording advertisements and other stuff... But for the main co-host, it will be sooo hard. ;-;

I was in the Martial Arts for 3.5 years, and over the course of those 3.5 years I had to read Black Belt Essays, give short motivational speeches about the martial arts (as I am a 2nd degree black belt), etc.
