How it works:

You have probably seen many Builders posting in trade chat, looking for a town to join. However, judging by their repeated messages, they never do seem to find a place to stay and unfortunately leave the server afterwards.

With the introduction of Vote 4, many new players are joining. This means that we have the POTENTIAL of a server player increase. However, the only way that potential can be achieved is if the new players find a place to stay and engage in trade and farming easily.

The staff of Builder Getting Started gives away free apartments, farm perms (including tree farm perms), and starter content. We try as hard as possible to increase the average player count of ECC, and the more players we get the more players will vote, which will in turn introduce new players.

I found it quite surprising that no other players have helped out these new Builders, and it hurts me when they repeatedly ask for a town to join and everyone ignores them.

HIRING STAFF!

A lot of players would volunteer freely to help out. But not everyone is going to have free time to help out the new Builders, and may be busy or not even looking at chat at all.

So, I am hiring players to help out with giving free apartments to new players. For every new player that you show the farms and give an apartment, you will receive $100.

When you add a new player, will you show them the farms and give them a short introduction to the server including how voting works and where to sell their nstars:

Also, you can signup to be a grief reporter, since griefs are common in a town where nearly a hundred new players are added. Grief reporters simply walk around the whole town once a week, and report any griefs they may find.
1k a week for grief reporters, and a bonus of $200 for each grief found.
