Minecraft Name: Strongpelt Suggestion: When it comes to LWC, i know why the rule of no being able to LWC remove the official owners locks but i suggest adding a small exception. If someone sells you a town and they leave ecc and later you find locked stuff by then, theres no chance to unlock any of it(right?) Could we maybe add a time frame and make like the sale of the town be screenshotted as further proof? Say after 6months you can file a removal request with screen shot proof of sale?? Reason: Yeah yeah i know about the town transfer requests but those are a lot to do when added ontop of the normal price towns sell for. Also its a shame if say someone bought a town with a vault and half the chests were locked? The vaults kinda useless because you cant even use half the space. Maybe even instead of unlocking the chests you could just straight up delete them? Any Other Information: none, other than i dont know if this has a chance. Link To This Plugin/Is this a custom addition?: None?
Yeah this seems a little arcane considering the amount of sales towns go through and you end up having to spend a fortune on a town transfer on top of having bought a new town and in strongpelt's case it's just to put up builder's plots and now she's gotta deal with this stuff. Silliness imo.
Actually thankfully he logged on and unlocked some more stuff. Sadly theres still four chests locked and a lot of signs in a rental room. I do wanna use the vault there xD But yeah the rest would be for plots.
@GMaxx will be back. Once you start making exceptions, things get messy, Easier to make a clear cut ruling and then its easier to lay the law down. I feel your pain, but unfortunately thats the way it is. -1
This won't happen because it's what town claims/transfers are for, and if the owner is inactive then you must claim the town. There are already things in place to allow you to bypass owners... they're just really, really expensive.
Technically, there is an existing solution. If you don't touch a lock at all, I mean even punch it, it will remove itself in 6 months.
Yes but no, it's not "said" but if you read between the lines it is. Look for the section on LWC wipes.
Unless I am mistaken, isn't it "Don't touch it for 6 months before December 1st"? Everyone using this approach would have to wait for a minimum of 6 months and for a maximum of 1.5 years minus one day (if they stopped interacting on June 2nd).
I am confused here. The cleanup policy defines December 1st as the date everyone should calculate with, but the cleanup date itself is variable?
Its a date that is a rough estimate, not always guaranteed to be then, but yeah, rule of thumb is to go off of that day
Pretty sure the cleanup policy gives pretty specific dates and not abiding by those dates when specifically given would be incredibly dumb.
