Hello, this is the Official Town Thread for the Town of Polaris, owned by me, Swordguthan.
Updates, members list, town suggestions, and such other topics will be discussed here.

Town Rules:

1. All standard server rules apply to the town and it's members
2. No griefing
3. No trolling
4. Only build / destroy blocks within your marked plot(s)
5. Do not kill any mobs that belong to another town-member
6. Do not go into or on another town-members plot / house without their permission, knowledge, and consent. This action is classified as "trespassing"
7. Please do not build houses out of dirt
8. Do not intentionally kill other players, unless you are both in a specified "PvP" area
9. You may dig down at your own risk*, but please only mine within your plot bounds. The plot you purchase is yours from sky to bedrock, no more, no less
10. These rules are for the safety and benefit of the town as a collective whole. Failure to comply with any and all of these rules may result in your removal from the town without any sort of refund, except advanced notice to collect your items from your chests and unlock your LWC's

Disciplinary Procedures*:

• If you break rules 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, you may be removed from the town immediately with no refund
• If you break rules 4, 6, or 7, you will be given a warning
• When a player has accumulated 3 warnings, they will be removed from the town with no refund
• If you break rules 2, 4, or 5 but you reverse any and all damages, you may receive a warning
• You may relieve yourself of one warning if you pay a $1000 fee, but you may only do this twice

Inactivity and Ban Policy:

If a player has not logged on to the server for over a week, that player will be removed from the town, unless that player has notified a Polaris town official that they will be gone a week or more.

If a player has been banned by the server, that player will be removed from the town, regardless of whether it is a temp-ban or a perm-ban.

*Disclaimer:
You dig down at your own risk, Polaris and its members are not responsible for any items you lose while mining, unless directly caused by another player, in which case that player is responsible and has broken rule No. 7 and should be reported immediately to town and server officials.
Polaris also reserves the right to remove any of it's town members at any given time, however we will give those players advanced notice and time to collect their items, unlock their LWC's, and, if they so please, to deconstruct their houses and collect the materials.
