What is the ECCMuseum?
ECCMuseum is dedicated to preserving the past through what makes our server unique, and is the only museum to span between three different main servers. We do this by collecting the lored and unique items and telling the story alongside it

What's new with the ECC 2.0 Museum
Being the third version of the ECCMuseum, we realized that in the past we've neglected two things: ECC's history and our past donors. With this new museum, we are celebrating all donors who helped not only this version of the museum, but the previous two as well. In addition, we want to share ECC's history past the items itself.

Museum Update!​

Hoo boy, have we been busy getting some great ECCMuseum content ready to share to the world!

First and foremost, we have a warp now! Come to /warp eccmuseum to see all these new additions!​

Now for the new builds (or builds we haven't announced yet)

1.) The ECCMuseum Main Building
Coming back for a third time, the main building! It has been rebuild again with new changes to best suit the modern server! Check out the new exhibits inside, the new fountains in front. and everything else inbetween!



2.) The All-New VMR Exhibit
Outside of the museum in its new exterior terrace is an old favorite: The VMR Exhibit, showcasing all VMR booklet items and all VMR Booklet Accessories.



3.) The first Exterior Exhibit: The Pavement towards the future
In the previous museum: The Main City Branch, we started the idea of exterior exhibits. This version, we are focusing more on them, especially for those that are seasonal-based. What is this first one outside? Come and see!



4.) New Spawn & Old Museums
The first thing you'll notice is area where you spawn, a nice flat area for you to venture. Next to it is two extravagant portals, which will eventually warp players to the two previous museums: The Legacy Branch and The Main City Branch.



5.) Tunnels, Paths, and Light Post Signs
One thing that wasn't necessary finished for ECCMuseum - Main City Branch was the pathways between exhibits. Not only are pathways being added between exhibits right away, but are made to look even better than last time! Two new tunnels that go through the hills towards ECCHistory as well as light posts on the pathways that lead you to where you want to go.

Future Aspects for ECCMuseum​

1.) Addition of actual working portals at spawn
2.) River rerouting
3.) More paths, specifically towards the future site of Crescent Cove
4.) Removing trees for the Halloween Exhibit?
5.) Adding trees and nature where it was removed
6.) Strides towards ECCHistory
7.) Forum work for ECCHistory?
8.) Work on the lecterns for all current exhibits.

 

Museum Update!​

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays ECC! Hope you are having a great holiday, or a good time of rest if you don't celebrate.

Anyway, we have three new buildings build for the museum and one area that I forgot to share months ago.

1.) The ECCMuseum Competition area has been built!
On Dec 26th, we are hosting a 250k giveaway where someone eliminates chests until one remains. This venue sits next to the Wandering Trader exhibit, ready for use




2.) Winterfest Island
On one of the Eastern islands is the now snowy island of Winterfest. Based off of the Admin Offices from the Winterfest 2021 Venue, all Winterfest 2021 items are displayed here.




3.) Ditzy Doo's Absolutely Everything (ECCMuseum Location)
This is the location where we will be selling crate items and extra lored items. The lore of this building is that there were two boxcars that were found here and fused together to make a shop. The name "Absolute Everything" comes from Fallout Equestria and is the name of my future shop.




4.) Halloween Area
Yeah, I forgot to announce this one. Back in November, we opened the Halloween area with builds based off the Halloween event

Future Updates​

Main future update is porting ECCMuseum over to the new map at the start of January.

Welcome back to the ECCMuseum!​

With the placement in ECC 3.0, we are in the process of adding new & exciting stuff as well as maintaining stuff that got neglected during the hiatus

What is planned right now with ECCMuseum 3.0?

• We are currently working around the border of the five towns that currently make up ECCMuseum to make it look like the surrounding area is natural and the town was not haphazardly placed
• Adding new trees and lush that were removed due to the above point
• The Warp still needs to be replaced. I've just been forgetful to get that reissued
• Adding the following exhibits to ECCMuseum
  • St. Patrick's Day 2022
  • Magic Mobs
  • The new Redeemable Lored Vouchers
  • Bunny Mayhem Event (from Wandering Trader)
• The continuation of ECCHistory to get that launched, which include
  • Fixing the roof (because I screwed up the WorldEdit y-axis
  • Building the final underground venue of the building now that there is an additional 64 blocks below it
  • More research and idea-planning in terms of the actual history
  • The official opening eventually
• Fixing of a secret build under the museum
• Finding a good place for the final "Symbol of ECC"
• Stocking "Ditzy Doo's Absolutely Everything!" with the extra lored items for sale
• New pathways to some of the exterior exhibits and other ECCMuseum towns

Been a while since we had one, but I am excited to share all the new stuff, all on one detailed screenshot

ECCMuseum is coming back slowly after about 5 months of hiatus.

Our current plans are as follows:
- Update the VMR exhibit to 1.20.1 [pretty much completed]
- Add the exhibits for the 2023 events, including builds
- Collect missing lored items
- Update Star Casino exhibit
- Revamp the shop

 

Hi folks, been a while since I made a post here. Wish it was better news, but this is probably the worst news that we've had in years

Recently, ECC had their yearly LWC rollback. With my irl responsibilities, I haven't been online, except for one time before December 01 where I had limited time to open all the chests to stop the rollback. Unfortunately, with the vast amount of chests in the museum, some were missed. While there are good people who alerted me, took the items from the chest just to return them back to me. And for those two people who returned the items, I paid them 1mil ECD each and gave them exclusive lored items that either never have been seen before or are extremely rare (that only two people including myself have).

However, there are people who took items for selfish reasons. Those people are going to be officially banned from all ECCMuseum towns & will not be able to participate in any 2024 ECCMuseum events (as well as any future events).

I will give one more chance though; If you return ALL the items you stole, I will not only lift the ban, but let y'all participate in the 2024 events. It could just me a misunderstanding and you were protecting it.

Please see the list of all stolen items which were discovered from logblock.

With that being said, here are the players that are officially banned from the ECCMuseum.

@KG4Life223 - 10 items (2021 Halloween Candies Red, Green, Lime, Blue, Cyan, Pink, Magenta, Brown, Light Grey, White)
(edit December 14th, list updated. TooMuchNoyes didn't take any items & attempted to return them back to their original chests. He is unbanned. Hhozier returned the items after a miscommunication. He is also unbanned.)

Like I said, even though the three users above did something legal (although frowned upon) and won't get banned from the server, you are officially banned from the ECCMuseum and all events unless you return the items you stole.

 

Yes, that's why I said it was legal and a grey area in the community

I messaged you twice today, once hours ago and once recently, and again days ago when I first learned about it. I even messaged once more before I banned you from the museum an hour ago. If you truly were taking them to protect them, then why didn't you message me? You have my Discord & have messaged me there before; everyone else who took & protected items messaged me. The other three people who took the items to protect them messaged me right away and I gave about 2 weeks if people were planning on returning them (and messaged those who logblocked).

My offer still stands despite this response: return the items like you just eluded that you would do if I messaged (which I attempted multiple times & got ignored) and I'll unban as well as allow you to participate in events (and remove your name from above, forgetting this all happened)

 

Also, I know. All items except for the ones above were returned by nice people who reached out to me (like I mentioned in the original post).

And yes, legally they are yours. I didn't open every chest before Dec 01 because of irl stuff with my dad in the hospital, but I can still ban you from the town and bar you from competing in future competitions for it. My offer stands like I said, so it's up to you what you want to do.

Before I respond to all these quotes, I will say I did mix up log dates. You did take them today and I was thinking of someone else. I just made the list of everyone who hadn't returned items today

I was on for five minutes to do a /magic that day and maybe do one WF game.

The chests were locked. The LWC rollback unlocked them (which I thought I opened all the chests). The black one must've been opened within 6 months

Logs show that you were the last one to take it from that chest (which wasn't even the original chest, but one that someone returned it to days ago)

If that is true, which I am willing to believe, I apologize for jumping the gun. I’m surprised you didn’t say that initially if you truly were going to return them. I will say that you did say here you were going to reach out, so I hope you would be so kind as to keep your promise on that.
Also, note for @coow_coow who responded here, I did check logs and have forgiven you for originally taking an item, but returning it to the chest. I appreciate you not taking it

Yeah I thought I hit every chest. If you want to buy it, go for it. I’m probably thinking of selling ECCMuseum anyway and moving on in a new chapter in life; tbh, ECC and the direction it is going is not a fit for me too much these days and I feel isolated with what I do

 

Interesting. What probably happened is I misspelled your user (mail is stupid and doesn’t say “incorrect user,” just sends it to the incorrect username.
