Hi!

The player with one of the locations in the center of the mall has decided not to renew, and I have heard nothing from @jjturbo23, so if I don't hear from him soon, one of the spaces on the sides is opening.

So, two open spots out of eleven are for rent. Contact me in-game or post on here if interested.

 

OK, with @eyesee3's vacation (we hope it's only a vacation) from ECC and the relocation of his shop to the Builder Building, we now have a prime shop location open in the mall. Literally the best location in the mall. In this picture, players coming in from the warp zone enter through the door to the left, and players coming from the portal through the doorway to the right. It's the only shop that's adjacent to both main entrances.



I will be in-game tomorrow night after 6pm EST or so until late. I cannot guarantee that a post here will hold the spot for you if not in-game then. Would love to get an experienced store owner in this spot.

Eviction is going through, trade sign removal is filed, as well as LWC removal for one locked chest. Once they go through, we'll be good to go on the open store.

@Jacob43365, the old trade signs have been removed, the shop is yours.

And all rents are paid for January, so the rent signs are reset to zero. I'll add one stick apiece to them when February rent is due. A reminder -- we will get more out-of-town traffic if the mall develops a reputation for having LOWER prices than spawnshops.

 

Incidentally, I finally learned how to use powertools (I will eventually win the Academy Award for Most Unused Features Because He Didn't Know How to Work Them) ... so there will be quite a bit more advertising for the mall during most evenings hours in EST, at least when I'm not selling plots. I noticed @0TheRedHerring0 was advertising tonight as well -- never a bad idea, shop owners... it benefits the whole mall when you do. :)

 

So ... we've had a lot of demand for stores, as we advertise more and as some players are making a decent amount of money here ... and any players who live in Lancaster know what it means when a part of town suddenly starts looking like this:



Yup, those are soon-to-be-vacant spaces where some unused houses used to be, and that's the back wall of the Mall. The people have spoken, we'll be adding more space for more stores. @Samiwarbler gets first pick of the new stores (she owned that middle lot), and my store will be moving into the first floor of Skygaarden Tower, so we may have space for as many as six or eight new stores! Post here if you're interested (a post here is NOT a reservation, but a reminder to me to talk to you in-game).

Estimated date of completion of mall expansion: not later than next Sunday, Jan. 25th.

 

Expansion of the Mall is on track, will be done as predicted once one other project is out of the way. There will be NINE new stores in the new wing, bringing the total capacity of the mall to 19 stores (my shop has been eliminated to create an aisle into the new wing).
