Indie games are games by independent developers, it can be in any kind of genre, and some you won't like, but saying you don't like any indie games is like saying you don't like any tv show because you saw some you didn't like.
Try Planetside 2. Its a free to play game with A LOT of players. You can also try Fallout 3 or New Vegas, which are made by the same people who make skyrim. The Fallout games are like skyrim as in they are singleplayer games that take time to beat. You can also buy a gameboy and Pokemon Emerald which I can play all day every day :3
