Okay... So this concept makes a lot of sense. 1) He is only encouraging the destruction of blaze spawners. 2) Exp prices have been slipping drastically as of late. 3) Builders have no access to blaze spawners.
I am not rich, yet, I can say I understand the reason of encouraging this. This is an economy thus we run on supply and demand. Reduce the supply and increase the demand. If you increase supply (like say no destruction of spawners at all) you decrease demand. This would mean experience and by extension enchanted items would become dirt cheap. That might sound good to some people but to others its a lil horrifying. -

This doesn't really even matter anymore or really affect exp prices. Ever since the update that added anvils and exp from mining. Back when we were doing this, the ONLY way to get exp was in the nether. We controlled 2-4 spawners, hid them well, and i destroyed most of the rest even through several nether resets. At one point me and a few others were selling out of exp at $11 per orb. That will never happen again sadly because I made a ton of money in a very short time ( and pissed off a lot of people as a result).

Actually I agree with this,in a sense, if EXP prices were to go up then fishing would be a lot more profitable, along with spawner locations, mining ores, and smelting things.
