+1; This suggestion only makes since, and personally I feel it is essential that we change this. If you sell 9 diamonds, it's the same as a diamond block, so should bakery items...

Why only cake and pie? There are other items, when crafted, that don't equal the total price of the parts it takes to craft them.
For example -
A bed - $0.90
to craft - $1.05-
