alivar I Agree but not only the noobs but some of us don't have the time to sit and farm all day to get a melon sword. So people that are saying no no no are the ones who already have a ton of money or a melon sword or both. Just back off some people need this.

 

If it goes to .75 I want melons to be 2.00

 

Pros- Builders/starting out people can make more signifigant income

Cons- 1. More experienced players with /fly or speed potions can easily make even more with it, hence creating money out of thin air...
2. The value of mswords would go down... If I can break 8 BLOCKS PER SECOND on pumpkins and 1-2 blocks per second on mons then melons would be worthless and pumpkins would be superior... With pumpkins at $.75 it would make $1.60 more than melons... That is %30 more than melons...

Well if you don't have the time to farm and get a melon sword, don't farm

 

If you purchase an item as expensive as a melon sword there must be benefits separating it from the crowd. You can not expect an item worth 7k to provide the same income. You also need to factor speed pots into the equation as they are almost as effective as /speed. And many people seem to forget that all owners of melon swords at one stage worked their butts off to get one . I find these threads for lazy people. Why keep complaining, why not put some effort in and get one for yourself.

 

I think there is a unfair agreement here. People without melon swords are saying pumpkins should change however people with melon swords say they shouldn't. Jokerboss, jbuks, ctoolme have mswords and are the ones saying it shouldn't change. Im looking at this at a even level since I don't melon farm or pumpkin farm. With the price of msword is now 1500 nstars the price difference between pumpkin farming and melon farming is good however the actual prices aren't good. Melons should make more but you don't want to push money into the economy. Pumpkins should make more but you don't want the income to be close to the msword's income due to the price difference. Therefore the price for pumpkins won't change even though it would be better if it was changed. If you set up a farm the right way you can make a lot of money even with cocobeeans or reeds You don't have to pumpkin farm.

Well I think pumpkins used to be more cause a normal eff 5 would set you back 50k so you got a bit more out of it, that's all I have really to say.

 

75 cents is too high. I would be happy with 65 or 60 though. Although I am a pumpkin farmer and wish for even $1 pumpkins it just won't happen. We need to have a medium. Something not too high, not too low. 50 cents is outrageous, 75 is too high. I think it should be bumped to 60 cents IMO.

 

I don't think it should be changed at all, but if it had to be moved up, it should be .55 at most

 

I respect your thoughts but I really don't see your decision. You really can't make a decent amount off of pumpkins anymore. Mind elaborating? I can be persuaded. :3

 

Okay, well I just think the melon sword HAS TO BE the superior farming tool, with $0.60 pumpkins, the prices were going down, big time, now I know that melon swords are 1.5k nstars now, but still, with 0.60 pumpkins, melon swords were almost getting to the point where it was getting better to farm pumpkins
