As of right now they are completely useless and there is no player market at all for them. I suggest we make it possible to sell them to the server again. It makes no sense that we can sell chorus fruit but can't sell its other products to the server. Each blocks would be worth the same as a fruit since it is a 1 for 1. 4 makes 4 so that should be easy to implement. There are no plug ins to add on.
Seems good, there is no reason for it to be unsellable. But well, I guess they just haven't looked about this yet.
That's quite a generalisation to make - people will purchase when necessary. Besides, not having a sell hand price encourages players to interact with each other to exchange exclusive goods that many may not have access to. Either way, is it really that bad having some rare decorative blocks in your inventory?

You forgot that when something is still useful in someway like building and decoration, it should still be sell-able to the server with at least reasonable value.

Okay, everything in the server is sellable now because like 99% of things you can make from other things! /s Your logic doesn't make sense? why should it matter if they come from the same thing? That'd be like saying apples should be 0.10 per because leaves are 0.10 per.
Because almost all resource-based blocks in this server work this way already. Gold is sellable and so are gold blocks, quartz is sellable and so are quartz blocks; therefore, if chorus fruit is sellable, its popped version and purpur blocks should be sellable too. There may actually be a valid reason why they don't want purpur blocks to be sold to the server, but your apples and leaves example just doesn't apply to this kind of situation.
