Question: How do town perms work?

Hello kkenmots, to answer your question giving perms is through a command known as /rg addmember (townname) (username) this allows for that certain user to gain access to the User's town that they are buying perms from. You can be an owner of a town at any rank, but to actually remove owners and members you have to be the rank Mayor +. I hope this answered your question. - Sean

Sorry I'm not sure exactly what privileges you're talking about?

Are you talking about things like, perms to build on a plot, or perms to use a farm etc? If so, there is no way to just set privileges for a specific area within a town. You can only give permissions for the whole town.

 

When you give someone perms to your town, they have access to the whole town. There's no way of keeping them in one specific area, but you can easily get them banned if they disturb things in other areas.

You tell them, you can only build on your plot, but that doesn't stop them from destroying stuff off their plot. Most residents won't break/place stuff outside their plot because they will usually get kicked out of the town.

As for privileges, they come with the command. As soon as I give them permission to the town, they can break/place/do whatever they want. I can't stop people from breaking stuff outside their plot, but I can throw them out and get them banned if they do.

If I give them ownership position in the town, they can add and remove other people as well.
