Minecraft Name: iRazorMemer Suggestion: Ranks Tycoon+ should have a unique color. Reason: This idea mostly applies to the forums. These are one of the most expensive ranks here on ECC and it's a shame that they never get it's own unique color. As of being a player who just lurks the forums instead of actually playing, it's hard for me to tell which rank someone is since people with rank President and up usually have custom forum tags (making it unable for me to tell their rank without going on the server). And lastly I simply think it's a nice look for those who spent an absurd amount of playtime and money to get their extra special rank. What colors should be used? "Change this to _____" is a far better suggestion than simply "change this" nearly all of the time.
There's no other colour to use. Magenta = nether chat. Purple = pvp. Dark blue = unreadable. Black = unreadable. all the blue and red colours are staff. Tell me, what colour is still available?: The only thing I can agree to is bolding the tag.
I wanted to leave options available so the staff can pick the colors themselves. But I guess I could've given a few examples. The &b light blue doesn't seem to be taken (I'm not counting prefix colors). Same for &e, &5 (If it's nether chat, use &d or vice versa) and I think &9 And you could bold EcoMaster and EcoLegend too.
A while back, I suggested that &e be used for Presidents, and we stick with &6 for tycoons+. I'd still be in favor of that. Even though &e is used for the End I believe, not many people are ever there at any given time, and it'd help get rid of some of the orangey-ness in chat. +1 (sort of)
Yep, but the point is for the rank to stand out, isn't it? Having an unassuming rank that costs millions of dollars is pretty counter intuitive, imo.
I thought this was also suggesting to make forums names match the colors ingame...? Currently president+ is just a sea of orange in shoutbox.
I'd like to have a different color but staff's hands are tied here. Human light variation sensitivity is limited, so unless you can invent a color, we're stuck with orange
Have you ever seen a default moderator talk in trivia chat? Anyway, let's just make the forum colors the ones in game. I hate orange.
