I agree that these are overwhelming and not to mention that it is hard to even give them away to help new players.

I don't think there are any skylords or skylegends that enjoy the potions.
16 pots for premium
20 pots for skylord
24 pots for skylegend

Thats 60 potions in the top 3 kits. More than an invis and a half, No one needs that many poti0ns.

Also they all fall on the floor and it makes it hard Because you have to avoid the potions on the floor for the rest of the day because you also have important tools in your inventory and /ci would be dumb.

EDIT: Or, you could take the potions out of the kits, and add a /kit skylordpotions and /kit skylegendpotions or something along those lines, Letting people still have the pots, but not when doing /kit skylord or /kit skylegend.

Sounds good to me. I have at least 8 double chests filled with potions I'll never use, and god knows I don't want many more.

 

You are officially a "hoarder" if you have more than 1 double chest of anything :D
I am so glad that this is being reconsidered as you know there are way too many on the server when we can't even give them away at spawn without throwing in some good tools, gear, and food... and then they are still left laying around on the ground after the giveaway :p

I absolutely hate when I do my last couple kits, having stuff spill out on the floor. I feel like I’m scrambling to get everything put away. Also, there are so many potions that I get rid of them... I’ve had this discussion in-game global with several other higher ranked skyblockers and they do what I do, either they breaks all the potions to get rid of them or chuck them in the void.

It is against my very nature (grampa resistance) to have to lava or void items... ever. o_O
Is it just me, or is andrewkm really showing some love to all of us lately? It just seems he is responding so much quicker than ever before, and while not every decision will ever make every player happy, he really is trying so very hard to come up with some of the best solutions possible.

 

I just don’t want to end up like Shane, over ran with double chests full of potions I’ll never use. :p Got more important things to put in those chests.
