We should be able to rename our towns if we don't like our names, its up to Andrew but we can pay 10k (Andrew of course can change the price, idk how to price) the app should be (my idea but Andrew can change it...) as follows 1) In game name? 2) Old Town Name? 3) New Town Name? (and any other questions Andrew can add (please let me know if this works)
I don’t think there’s a way to change it in world guard, they would have to delete the town, create it again and re add all members.
This was suggested before. I believe Jamie said that this would never happen because of the way things work currently. It would be more work for staff to check available names as you would still have domain on the old and new name. I’m sure Nicit or pi will state exactly what he said

WorldGuard regions simply don’t work that way. Its deleting and recreating the region, which is hassle, considering now we have flags and whatnot.

I don't think it's a good idea to rename towns because of the way ECC's bureaucracy has handled town/feature applications for many years.
