I feel like with the enchanting changes (significantly less Xp, effv no longer requires an anvil) and this, 1.8 was designed to mess with ecc. I think this should be easy to fix though.

 

yea... this update seems custom tailored to ecc lol

 

Can't check with minecraft atm, but I guess that a sword can'T een have silk in normal vanilla survival. Then it doesn'T count as deactivated enchantment, but rather as an impossible one due to the source code.
