As a lot of you may already know,
recently a lot of Ecc members have had their hard earned money scammed by @Giant_leader

List of known victims:

@Ceebrett ( owed 1 x melon sword or 800k )
@oRON647 ( owed 260k or $50 donation)
@milesdarkedge ( owed 70k )
@314 (owed 20k)
@mrcooltrey (owed 150k Please confirm with link to complaint)
@FuryFudge (owed 590k)
@DevotedToChrist (owed 300k)

If you believe you should be on the above list please comment with a link to your complaint and you will be added.


I have set this thread up as a way for generous users to donate to the victims of giant_leader.
Every little bit helps so we will be accepting donations large and small.

If you have ever been scammed you will understand that reparation is only paid if the player whom committed the scam is unbanned.
As a vast majority of us players would not like to welcome scammers back to the server I have set up this charity.

All donations received will be divided equally among the victims until their owed amount is paid back.

How to donate?

we have 3 ways of accepting donations currently these methods are as follows:

• /pay Ceebrett your donation in game

• by visiting our charity shop in Chibtown owned by Chiblin (portal is on 5th floor of towns) (note if you make a donation via sign make sure you /mail ceebrett with ur donation size to be added donators list)
• or you may donate items to be auctioned to Ceebrett in game also

Donator rewards:

All donators will be added to this thread and store signs, top donators will be added to
top section with the amount they donated. The highest donator by the end of January will receive a prize
(perhaps a statue erected in their honor)

there is indeed a donation chest, most items will be sold at server price and added to total however in the case of rare items i will be doing a series of auctions at the end of next month.. the portal to charity shop is now up, you can find chibtown on level 5 of towns portal

Have now confirmed with admins that no players scammed by Giant_leader will be receiving any compensation from ECC ( no surprises there )
so donations of any size will be graciously accepted.

 

I know that now, although when i was scammed I was a new player who had never really
touched the forums.. im not asking for your pity either, im asking for a voluntary donation. if you don't wanna donate thats fine but I don't really care for "what ifs" or "you should have done this"

Well for a start all donations are posted on this thread and secondly all the funds that are donated sit on a sign in the donation shop. If i were to take all that money for myself I would be banned for scamming pure and simple.
