It's coming up to the 1st of June, which means that it's time for the Senate elections! To stand as a candidate, you must be a member of the town you are standing for. Each town has 2 members, selected by a first-past-the-post system. (you vote for who you want, top 2 in the vote are elected) You have until 21 May to stand as a candidate, after which you have until 28 May to campaign for votes. The polls open at 06:00 GMT (01:00 EST) on Sunday 28 May and close at 06:00 GMT (01:00 EST) on Wednesday 1st June. Senators have to vote on laws, decide town court cases, and have co-owner status in the town they are a Senator for.
