I don't think Andrew would compensate. In the past eff v tools have decreased in price dramatically.
If he were to compensate the only way would be to need the new axes. There are just too many melon swords out there.

 

That is eff v tools though they are enchantable vanilla minecraft mswords cannot be made plus they are worth 800k+ more as for if andrew will compensate idk hopefully he allows you to trade in your msword for nstars/dif star tool but idk what he will do about this update.

 

In the past Andrew has only compensated for donations and forum medals. I'm really not sure. But for those who own swords I really hope they get some form of compensation.

From the information I have gained from staff members, it seems there will not be compensation. I just purchased a melon sword from a GA, and she was very willing to sell it.

 

Dude no one is gonna pay 750k for 50 days of Msword 250k is a epic deal all things considered ure gonna take a HUGE loss no matter what

Don't fall for this 1.8 crap. Sell it for the 850k-1mil range. Andrew won't screw 15% of the server out of 1 million dollars.

I don't know if there will be compensation, no one does. But it is Assajj's choice whether he wishes to sell for a lower price or take a gamble and hope he can get what he is looking for. I hope you get however much you desire. :)
