Here are a couple of the complicated builds ive done.

Do you guys think this is a fair price per hour?

    Those are some nice builds.
I find that charging by the hour isn’t the best way. What if it takes you less than an hour? What if two people pay for a build that is similar in size and design, but one pays double cause it took you longer? Some people might worry you’d drag the build out to get more money. The list goes on.
Might be a better option to charge by size and detail work involved. Maybe make up a template with flat rates on it, like...
    Size
    10x10 - $800 (+ materials) to $1,000
    20x20 - $1,200 (+ materials) to $1,500
    Etc..
And you could have something like...
    Second Story - $500
    Basement - $500
    Vault - $500
    Detailing - $100
    Interior decor - $300
    Etc.

Give the customer options to make their own package that way when the price is added up, they are more satisfied with it because they had a say in what they wanted and how much it would be. I don’t know, just my two cents. Good luck with your “business”. :)

That and charging 5k an hour isn’t profitable at all, cause u can make 10k with pumpkin farming and the numbers go up from there.
