You should have been here for ECC's update to 1.5 if you think the 1.7.9 update was bad. I 90% of people on this update could barely move when they were logged in.

 

I have an internet speed of 112 down and 25 up. I get block lag, not too badly, but everytime I place/break something %20 of the time it comes back. So idk if its actually the internet speed.

 

My point more is how long it takes for your internet to ping the server, ping can be a killer. When on the server list put your cursor over the internet status bar and tell me what your ping is to the server. I am more than willing to be proven wrong on this, but my experience with the server was the higher my ping the more likely I got block lag.

 

I remember that, now that was server side and was obvious.
