In my opinion, 10-16 is too soon to host an event of this quantity. If anyone can recall to the last sg event, it was rushed and everyone was misled on the goal of winning. It started off with the most points and ended with the most wins. There should atleast be some preparation to make sure that this event isn't a flop like the last one, therefore hosting it tomorrow isn't a good idea.

 

I agree i also feel as though people may not even realize it is happening for those who have been offline for 2-3 days will come back and be like what the heck I didn't even know xD.

Maybe split the difference between the two and start Wednesday or something? Seems fair, especially because both of the two options have high numbers of votes.

 

I was all excited to start tomorrow though D:

 

1. Schedule it for sometime in oct./nov.
2. People have 1-2 months to learn whats going on
   1. they can prepare
   2. buy kits dolla dolla
   3. they can adjust schedule for tournament
3. forget this event
   1. too heated
   2. the fact that the event time is so controversial means that it's not a good idea

too bad if people can't make it - life is unfair

Nah I think this is way to late and everyone will be most likely too busy for this.

 

I'd hold it before the summer ends, personally, as doing it during the school year wouldn't be fair to many users. That being said, this event probably should have been announced, and perhaps, even held a month or two before this. I love this idea- I just don't know if we've prepared enough for it.

I honestly don't trust the vote all that much at this point :/

It's basic physchology - as soon as that poll was rigged, people's votes were dishonest. When people see a percentage higher that another, they go with the higher percentage unless it effects them negatively. Some people might prefer the extra time to prepare, etc, but wouldn't have thought about it because the results were inflated.

IMO - we clear this poll and start over. It only seems fair in my eyes.
