I believe this is the current intention - there's just yet to be developed a feasible way to do it. Why we don't remove SG medals from hackers is beyond me, though.

Well it annoys me that hackers manage to somehow get the sg points and medals and when banned they maintain that reputation of a 'good' sg player when all they did was hack to win. They shouldn't have started hacking in the first place and we need to make an example of them. +1 also I think (might be pushing it) they should have any sg kits wiped as well. :D

 

Kuke mentioned we can Negate stats.

 

Yeah it was kind of a conflict within me because of that. :/

Medals and Points should be removed based on the offense. For example, first offense, loss of all SG Points. Second offense, loss of all SG Points and Medals at that point in time. From there, the cycle would be continuous.

 

Your probably not gonna get too many replies from my side of the river so that's why i feel i should post. I used to hack. Plain and simple everyone knows i did it not gonna argue it. I got tempbanned for like 3 days and after that i came back, like nothing had ever happened (of course it did as i got a lot of different reactions from fellow sg'ers). I played the right way for a while but still felt like i wasn't making money fast enough. I got greedy. I thought if i didn't use any kill aura/force field hacks i could probably get away with it. Long story short i did it again. I am proof that we need to up the punishment given to hackers. I fully support having hackers points wiped and medals withdrawn (even if that means vacating my stats/medal). I realized that how I tried to play the ECC community was wrong and the sheer fact that i tried to do it again shows that our punishment isn't strict enough. Please don't post nasty remarks towards me because of this message, I am on your guys side now... i went to the dark side, the cookies they always talk about, were burnt. I've taken a step back from sg, as my reputation will always be tarnished and I've found a new beginning in melon farming and building. I think what Knears proposed is much more reprimanding and if this was in place, who knows i might not have done it again. In summation +1 to this thought, our punishment for current sg hackers isn't strict enough and needs to be strengthened.
