Okay, decided to post one layout as a current status. In general, I chose emerald swords with a bright background shine in bronze, silver and gold. There is much to be done, but I decided to post it for first feedback. Any suggestions/comments?

 

For anyone who is wondering, you can use .png files to make the background transparent!

My question: So should I create the file as 35x35 or 24x24? Thanks :)

I redid the iron, gold and diamond medals because they looked low quality for me. If anyone wants to use these as the base for theirs, go ahead. They're 146x146

Are you using illustrator?
If you can, try and use the first 3 swords that I made. The current swords narrow in the middle and look distorted.

Edit: Also, try making one of the first 3 medals, but with a diamond color, and one of the last 3 with a bronze color! :p

 

I like the first ones a lot, other than the fact that the diamond swords make them all look to much alike and if you had all 3 you would have four diamond sword medals. I also really like the second ones but I think it may look better if the ribbons weren't at the same angle as the sword. Just suggestions of course though as they already look great :D

I am going with the Lapis Lazuli, Redstone and Emerald Sword theme.

I believe that they are the correct size.

For my entries to be listed, should I post all 3 instead of only one? Also, since dccc had practically the same idea, should I still continue with my design?

Looks very similar to dccc's though,but I used an emerald sword instead. (I might as well use a higher resolution, will try to bring it to the 35x35.)
