The aether is meant to be a Free-build world, so if you enjoy building or looking at buildings I would recommend it( You can also view the aether on the livemap). Though without fly it is a bit harder to navigate the flying islands.

 

I would recommend getting resident first, then getting aether.

No i dont think so because you cant have any farms larger than 15x15. The only way i can think of making money is by charging money for tours.

Yeah like lets say you make a maze or an art exhibit. You could charge a fee for allowing people to view your art work.

 

I don't have fly yet. How easily will I be able to get around without fly?

 

Bring a inventory of dirt and you will be abble to go anywhere :p
