ever since that first hosting crash that left ECC offline for a while, ive been getting the shaft when connecting to ECC. my connection to ECC has constantly been getting worse and worse. and its not just me. other active players on ECC are having the same issues. mostly in the southwest region of the US. i got a few friends on ECC and they all get lag at the same time. i really wish someone would look into this. if i bring it up in global chat. the mods/admins just say there is no server lag."i have a command for checking that" this is of a local world with chunks at 16. in the options. and this is the mining world on ECC with the same video options i do use custom java arguments when running my minecraft java -Xmx2048M -Xms1024M -jar Minecraft.exe ive checked everything on my end. including my internet http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3513357083 in short i just want this laggyness looked into and if something can be done that would be great. also if there is any other network/hardware tests that need to be run to help assess my problem i will gladdly run it for you. thank you in advance to whomever handles this.
I believe I read that the host moved the servers to a new location during that outage, since they didn't have any redundant lines outside of the single ISP they were using. Perhaps the issue is because of the new location? This may be something out of ECC control if there is a choke point somewhere between us and the new location. (I am also affected by this BTW).
