Hi guys tonight I did a demo of my Treasure Hunt, It worked out good and we had a winner.

People enjoyed it so I'm promising you guys We will have on every Tuesday and Thursday night!

What I need from you though is Ideas. So tell me what you would like to see in my Chests and in the adventure to get to the chest.

Tonight we had about a 1.5k journey to find the chest, along the way were signs left by me. they kept following my cookie crumbs to get there. Really no challenges besides cave systems.

For those who took place in it I hope you enjoyed it!

    Hey SlowPixel,
I love scavenger hunts, and would love to be a part of it.
Is there any way to sign up to create the next one?
    Thank you lots!

Sure Right here you can sign up. I kinda lost a lot of money buying the stuff to put in the chest, so having help getting treasure, and making puzzles would be epic! So welcome to Team Treasure!

    SUGGESTIONS:
    1. Lock all the signs and mark down it's coordinates to unlock after.
    2. Don't tell people the coordinates, it's just not fair.
    3. Come up with some creative clues, not needed.
    4. Don't lead them on a wild goose chase to nowhere.
    5. Don't stay at your chest because if people are smart, they would just find you on the live map.
    6. Make it obvious that the chest is yours by putting a sign maybe.

I had some fun participating in this, as the cow of course. But yes, I would definitely listen to some of the above suggestions. I also wouldn't spread it out as far as you did. With the signs that far apart and in such weird locations, it was really really hard to continue on. If you were to keep it like that though, I would definitely use better clues instead of "Keep Going Forward, and etc." But overall it was fun and I look forward to another one.

The next one will be much more organized I guarantee it. Signs will have clues saying where to find the next sign, bonus chests, Monuments, Mazes, Parkour, etc.

I have some ideas but sadly I think players would break the idea. By having 2 chests with books in them with Keys marked on the book, but sadly I think people would steal all the books making sure no one got to the treasure before them.

I had that thought as well, but here is another idea. You could actually make some money off of this and charge people to play. They pay you, and you toss them the book. Sure they can share the info, but they just payed money to attempt to win a prize, so most people won't. With the money you would get from this, you could use that to restock the chests for later games, and keep a little bit of the cut to yourself.

As long as he/she doesn't troll and make us pay and waste our time looking for an empty chest.

Another suggestion, you could have several chests with different 2 digit passwords on each of them which would probably prevent people from trying to take more than one book.

True, I was also thinking that.

I do love the pay to play idea, But whats a good price for the first key they get?

Also book and quill donations would be nice or just the supplies for books and quills. Cash is also nice :p
