    I think that it would be neat if we could exchange snowballs for snow 'blankets' (Generated in snow biomes) at the trade house. This could allow you to make snow covered trees,hmoes, etc. I do know that snowmen do generate these just by walking arround but I suppose it would be hard trying to get them on top of a tree, etc. (block id: 78) On this wiki page is a picture of the block im talking about http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/File:Snow.png

    snow blankets are used as nukes in the nether so it wont happen. (you can always buy those nukes from the terminators but it will most likely be expensive)

    You can't place those items in the main world though. I used to have sponges from the old map that I couldn't use, so I assume it's the same for snow.

    you could take those items to the nether and use them as nukes.

    You can place snow blocks, but not snow blankets.
