He's already stated that the administration is currently working on it. In the meantime, why not develop a different set of strategies to adapt? I'm sure that would work out for you while they're currently working on it.

I think that the anticheat needs definite tweaks or ,not saying it will happen, remove the anticheat and start all over again. I got kicked 4-5 times today for jumping from a 3 block height, no lag or ping issues. I am getting frustrated with the new anticheat, but I am sure this will be fixed in no time. :)

 

Sorry Jamie. I don't hate anti-cheat but I wanted to give feedback on its strange side-effects.

 

Let's not. Allowing people to hack is bad for the server and the community as a whole.

 

Me and @a18greek18 were PvPing tonight.

It basically ruined our whole fights lmao, we couldn't strafe and crit each other because when we jumped and hit, we both got rubber banded back down to the ground and facing the other direction.

We both agreed that it wasn't us lagging, and it had to be this. It's really frustrating; will this be fixed soon or ..?

 

Jamie's already stated it will be worked on after 1.9

Am I not allowed to notify a developer with problems that the plugins have? If not, how are they supposed to fix them if they don't know them?

I'm completely fine with the anticheat, and it gives me no more lag than before. The only things I want changed are the sound it makes (The footsteps), and the particle effects.

Yeah, the plugin that blocks hacking apparently sucks. After all, with no reasoning/actual feedback, the logic is absolutely flawless and the post is absolutely valid. Checks out to me. :thumbsup:

 

Your feedback is much appreciated. You are absolutely right and the administration has decided to write a completely new anticheat system. This will fix all the bugs and more! It will only delay the progress for give or take a few months, but that's fine, because the new anticheat would absolutely never improve and no bugs will ever be fixed. Sure, the new anticheat blocks hacks, but it has some bugs that affect the normal people. At least the old anticheat didn't have bugs that annoyed people. Why did we even switch over from the previous nocheat? Let's just disable nocheat altogether. We can always record people for hacking and they'll get banned. We don't even need nocheat. Scrap the previous decision, we're not writing a new anticheat system. It's a complete waste of time. We don't need nocheat. We'll do everything manually. Because that won't cause problems for the normal users who don't cheat. No anticheat, no bugs.
