    In a server that I play there is this thing that doesn't let u say the same thing 2 times or more. It prevents some spam, and if u are trying to say the exact same message it will prevent you from doing that. So if u try saying /spawn and don't say anything other than that, the next time you try saying /spawn, it will pop up a message in the chat saying

    Cannot Send Duplicate Messages

    . I think that this is a good suggestion to prevent some spam. If you don't agree with this, then I have something that could be added to this. It should reset every minute. Does that sound better? If so then you should give it a shot! Post a reply saying If this addition to this suggestion makes it a bit better.

    That's awful. What if I want to advertise. Like "come see my store, pm me for a tp" I won't spam it but I will repost it in he trade chat every minute or so

    This could be helpful with ip spammers, but, as RyanBlocks2 said, if you say something to advertise selling in trade chat every few minutes, it would not allow you.

    Guys, Guys, Guys. This is just a suggestion! Andrew doesn't have to do this. If you wanna advertise something just type something like "/e" and then it'll say unkown command and then say the advertisement again, or figure out another way to say your advertisement. But, I just think that this is a good suggestion. It's my opinion.

    We understand it's a suggestion and I respect your opinion. The idea of the suggestion forum is to get an idea of what other people think of your suggestion and to point out possible flaws. You shouldn't take what people comment personally as it's just there opinion.

    This could work, but could also cause more problems. Maybe it could only start to block after 5? duplicate posts in 60? seconds. This could be tweaked to prevent spammers from saying the sam thing over and over, but would not restrict normal use.
