I have set 49 homepoints throughout the mining world such that /near covers every inch of the mining world.

I have started a Party called SpawnerPosse and want spawner hunters to join it.

My plan is to use my homepoints to find people and pass along the info to the Party.

For example:
"So-and-so was seen 305m from these coords: 1400x, 35y, -700z. Assigned to dork1877. Sending tp."

Contact me when we're both in-game to join.

 

Since the mining world was reset, I have only found 2 spawners, not claimed of course, but I have destroyed them. After 1 pm today I will be done for the semester, so I will be sure to devote much more time to mining and spawner hunting to help keep those exp prices rising.

 

I love this idea, I will have to join starting possibly in a few hours or later this weekend.

Destroyed 3 zombie spawners today, 1 of them was set up so that is one less being farmed from.

 

I am on a break from this for the spawn building competition.

 

Destroyed 5 more zombie spawners and 1 spider spawner since yesterday.

 

Even though I haven't joined, I destroyed 6 zombie spawners and 1 skele from mining o.o lol I might join

How about make exp only obtainable in the nether from blazes or something like that. That would make the exp prices rise a lot, and it wouldn't cause any hard feelings from the people that got their skele spawner broken because everyone gets it and they still have mob drops. That way you don't have to go on a crazy quest to destroy every spawner in the mining world, because it gets reset and there will always be new spawners.

 

I started about 10 ago and have farmed 220k in xp/drops from spawners in mining world. They do get griefed which is annoying, but it only takes 10-20 min to find another one. I usually play games like League or Hearthstone and kill mobs when they pile up. I also plant farms, cause you need water anyway for the spawner room.

Fishing underground is kinda crappy though cause of the 50% average increase in time.
