Thank you for the quick response - and thank you for thinking of us players that own shops and giving us a chance at bidding! I dreaded the thought I would have to clear my shop without even knowing if I would win the bid.

 

How much is this feasibly worth nowadays? Especially with the hub, and the prospect of a new market design, is this a smart investment?

 

Really kind of wished you would not have asked this question right now. The feasible worth could be in the hundreds of millions of dollars (pretty much only KMax and UserNameofDeath have that kind of money but they already have shops :p)
The hub is expected to draw in possibly tens of thousands of new users (estimated - could be wrong)
The reality is that it will be worth whatever the final bidder offers and the server accepts. The hub and possible new market design should only help with the value. I am just wondering, but why did it go up for auction?

 

It was owned by @Physicistsmom, and it expired. Since it was in one of the front three rows, it has to go up for auction after an expiry.

I apologize to everyone for posting more than a bid on the auction thread. I was caught off guard when seeing Fizz bid on the shop and replied without thinking where I was. I am not making excuses, just explaining myself since I strive to not break the rules.
I do hope that if she really wants her shop back that players would honor that, especially since she has done so much for all of us.

 

So according to the rules for the auction;
