Hello Turtwiginator95 again
I was skimming through the staff applications and realized ive seen these names on ban lists before. (No offense to these players) I realized that it makes me uncomforta ble to know that players that have been banned before can further their ranks beyond that of normal players.
My proposition-
Players who have had a serious ban (such as) griefing, duel accounting, or scamming/ advertising (bans that players cant really explain off as an "I didnt know". These players shouldn't have the privilege of applying to such a player friendly server. Playere who have gotten a temp ban (for swearing or minor loan duel breaking) should b given 2 one chance because something could have happened in their lives to cause such slips in rules. This is a well organized and clean server me and my fellow players agree that letting rule breakers have abnormal server powers is very dangerous and unfair.
Side notes. I know some counter arguments will b "there apps wouldn't b accepted anyways" or "they appealed" but I disagree for the reasons that is clogs up the process for all the clean users, also some appeals my be fake or half hearted.

I banned Tommy_T as a builder for abusing donation features, twice, now he's a GA.
I myself have had 2-3 bans on my name, I'm a GA.
Although I can understand recent bans, but why would we pick people who gotten banned for something serious just recently? They can apply, but that doesn't mean we'll consider them. and vice versa, if someone's been banned for let's say.. x-ray a year ago, why should he still be held back by that mistake he made a year ago? Why should we disallow that person to apply?-

I would disagree on adding this for a few reasons (i.e. wrongful bans that occasionally happen by accident, etc) but I think the biggest thing is that this simply isn't needed.
Staff aren't elected by popular vote; rather selected by the current staff members. They know best who would be good for the team - and they'll more than likely take things like this into account. -

Ok its up to you guys I just posted to show that issue is out there and I wouldnt want someone abusing that power, that is why I suggested the 2 tempban grace period, however if a player commits a banable offense such as x-ray, major griefing or duel accounting, lets face it they are just relying on the appeal they are given and may commit the offense again with confidence in little to no repercussions due to the fact if they make a convincing appeal everything will be forgiven . I myself am not applying this time around. I just wanted to suggest a way to filter apps before they are posted because most are very long and I didnt think staff member would want to read over an app they would ultimately reject anyways lol
