I would play like Sky does. I couldn't give that up.

I would like to think there could be a happy mix of both. I mean, I like the play aspect of the game, to clear land, to build or demolish structures, and to sell things to other players in my shop. But, I like the "paperwork" part, too. Processing applications, complaints, etc.
I couldn't do what I love if I didn't love what I do. -

@allstaff Do you play any sports in school and have time to moderate? If so what sport? If you do, how do you find the time to moderate?
EX:I play soccer and dont get home till 6:00pm and it takes me atleast an hour to do home work, if i were a mod i would have to add in 3-4 hours thats means going to sleep at 11:eek:o pm, which would not work well for me D:. -

In all seriousness though, I used to play sports, but my school schedule is so messed up that I wouldn't get home till 7:30 at night with at least 2 hours of homework from math and chem. I kinda gave up :p If I did still play, I'd be doing golf and basketball -
I did play sports in school but I never had to juggle sports and moderating. I played soccer (left wing offence), softball (left field), and I was on the pom squad (first row). -
Im a state-recognized swimmer, and once high school season starts, im on varsity. Its modeartly hard, but i find plenty of windows in my day to hop on for 30-60 min and moderate. This upcoming winter will be a test to see, but it will probably a subtle change in hours :p

For school, I do cross country from the beginning of the school year until mid-november (every night 2:45-4:30). Sort of overlapping, I start wrestling which goes from early november or so, until march (starts off 2-3 nights/week, progresses to every night 2:45-5:15). I also participate in hockey from September until March, which is 2-3 nights a week (practices are 1.5 hours long or so, and games take up from 1.5 hours to 4 or 5). Finally, I do recreational soccer in the summer, but that is just 2 hours once a week during the summer.
So, in a much more simplified text, currently, I get back from school around 4:30 PM, and after having a shower, eating etc. I am online around 5 PM, I will occasionally have hockey, but that will be late at night. I can play from 5-7 or so completely uninterrupted, I then have supper, and get back on ECC. If I have homework, i'll finish it before I get on ECC though I rarely have homework unless it is a project.
Finally, if I work on a weekday (5-10 PM), I really cannot play ECC, as I have no more than 30 minutes to play, but that would be pointless. Thankfully, that only happens once a week and I can stay active on ECC. Also, after March, I really do not have any sports, so I am free to play the entire time.
TL;DR, somehow I manage to play enough. -
The_Tailor BuilderBuilder ⛰️ Ex-Tycoon ⚜️⚜️⚜️Our soccer team went to nationals and won it all when i was a freshman, we were the best of the best, undefeated and we just kept marching through teams with nothing more than 1-0 we have our own soccer field and soccer practice field. Every summer fifa players come and train us for the next season so we just keep getting better and better.

I play both football and badminton. I usually play football after school (every other day with my friends) and badminton on the weekend. Any time is moderating time :p

Amything distance free, i enjoy doing sprint free and breastroke though xD

I manage to get my 3 hours in, just means being on for a little nit during free periods at school, and a litter later at night.

TO all staff: I'm not sure if this has been asked but what do you do when your not on ecc

I go bowling on Thursdays (am part of a league with my Dad)... play other RPG-like PC games (Neverwinter's MMO is high up on the list)... and kind of have a D&D Next thing going on at least twice a month. I work full time, have two cats (as almost everyone knows by now), and since I work overnights, I don't get out much. -
Um... School, swimming, doing some stuff with friends. Pretty much nothing out of the ordinary.
