Well, I'd like to spruce up my new town "France", start building my old town "City", buy investagator, umm.. maybe build a bit in the new aether. Also, make spawn presentable :p

My current goal is getting a CustomTag and making it "Phil" :p. Long-term I'd like to finally finish up my town Aquila as well as complete my President town, Aegis.

Have you ever made an embarrassing slipup on staff? I know you can't discuss all secret staff dealings, but just common stuff, like forgetting to lock a complaint thread, or ect.

 

Lol, I think on my 2nd day of staff I asked something along the lines of "A player won't leave a town, what do I do?!?!!?!?!" in Global chat, while I meant to say it in the Staff channel. Looking back on it, I just feel like a big old noob xD, even if it wasn't that big of a deal, but having just gotten Mod it was rather traumatic for me...

This caused me to get demoted, something I will never forget.....
Stupid sleep deprivation...

 

I can't remember one that I am super embarrassed about, but I know we all do some chat fails occasionally. I've seen some pretty bad ones, like staff passwords and things posted in global :p

The only thing that I can think of that *I* have done, was ban someone, then 5 mins later Skylexia told me they shouldn't have been banned. I was so scared, but it turns out I did the right thing anyway, so it was all good in the end. :p

 

Although I have messed up my share of times while on staff, the funniest thing that I did actually happened the day before I got promoted. I was looking at other applicants' applications and I copied an ip of a server that another user said was his to check it out. After I joined ECC again, I did ctrl+v to paste my advertisement into chat not thinking that I had an ip attached to that.

I started saying "OMG" "that was an accident" and tried to explain myself so that I didn't get banned and lose my chances at getting staff. Luckily, good ol' DFat saw that it was an accident and explained to everyone that it was all fine. DFat <3

 

Hmm, that's a question that i'd have to think about. I'd say short term is to get one of the four spawn towns that will be going up for auction soon. Long term, I would like to get EcoLegend, all forum medals (excluding stupid high donator medals), finish building my town Afaya and get Supermod one of these days.

My "best" slip up was when we GAs started doing some of the rank applications. I accidentally made a Builder a Mod (on the forums only) instead of a Resident. Thankfully it is an easily fixed transgression.

 

lol revanrose6 and to all staff what were your feelings when you became mod+?

 

I was just glad I was sitting down... could have blown me over with a feather when I was promoted the first time. I didn't expect to make staff on my first try... but, when it's something you can do, are good at doing, like doing, that shows. The other promotions were just as surprising, but, equally welcome for the new things I'm able to help with.

 

Just because I feel like answering, nope. Also a note to Kmax the forum rank for Mod does nothing by itself the permissions associated need to be added in another way as well.
