I was very surprised. Mostly, because I had never spoken in global, and had only ever spoken to two mods before (Mardigan_the_mad and Kmaxwell). I remember that the first day I became mod, I died and lost all my stuff. And the whole first week people were asking me who I was and when I joined. No one had heard of me before! :p

 

I know it's a bit silly, but I was literally shaking... for a good five minutes of pure disbelief. That surprised feeling soon turned into excitement as I started to play a bit in-game (I had been on the forums before I logged in).

 

Made mod..... Scared as heck.

Made super mod..... Scared as heck x's 10000 lol

With each promotion I get more scared... More responsibilities and the pressure that gets to me, I suppose...

 

Heh, you all reacted so much differently than I would if I became staff... I'd just be like "K, tell me what to do."

 

You know, this is exactly what I thought I would be like before I got Moderator. The day I got it though *shivers*, all that disappears xD, suddenly you realize you don't know as much as you thought you did, and that every step you take is going to be monitored... analyzed by the community. It's honestly nerve wracking xD.

 

This is still vivid in my mind... so... story time!


It's funny looking back on; Andrew announced that staff would be selected after the restart, so I was super excited! I really just wanted all those days of waiting to be over, figure out if I'd be deemed worthy of Mod or not. Well... At that moment my mom decided to come into my room and demand I eat dinner -.- It was probably the fastest I'd ever eaten food in my life :p. After I'd run back upstairs, plonked on my headset, the restart had already happened but I didn't realize this. So when I got back on I didn't expect the Mods to have been chosen and said something in my town chat channel. I didn't realize I had that fancy blue tag, but one of my town members was like "Falcon!!!", and then I noticed :p.

So how did I feel? By far the biggest feeling was being overwhelmed. Having 15 people PM'ing you "congratulations" is quite spammy xD, and I got a complaint within 5 minutes of getting Mod. That was by far my happiest day on ECC, and am glad that I've been chosen to represent the server.
