    Why? It's extremely boring, nearly as boring as the posse itself.

    Exp is up because of mining nerf and reduction in exp count from mob kills.

    Posse activities hardly made a dent so just ignore them till they get fed up and go do something more productive.

    I have destroyed at least 25 mob spawners (spider, cave spider, skeleton, and zombie) in the past day, BEFORE I read this post. I did not destroy 5 or 6.

    Now I will not let ANY mob spawners stick around, whether they work or not. If I find one in the mining world, wild, etc, it will be destroyed post-haste.

    I spend most of my time in wild, so spawners are pointless. When I find them in the mining world, I generally destroy or make an xp farm out of them, but I havent found one on this server in the mining world yet - unless it was a cave spider spawner.

    You seem like an intresting person to meet, hi.

    No, it is impossible for a mob spawner to self destruct itself. The only way that a spawner might get broken is if you, or any other player on ECC uses a pickaxe on it and breaks it. Otherwise, no.

    Well, aside from leaving them for other players to farm, no...

    So the reason you destroy them is because you have no reason not to destroy them?

    Destroying spawners create demand in the XP market. All in all, breaking spawners is a *good* thing.

    I just bought Fly+, teleport +, and /back. These are going to be put to use for hunting players and spawners. I'd say sorry, but I'm not. I lived through it when it happened to me during my lower ranks, and you all will too.
