how does this work, if we all buy a ticket and we split it we'll say 10 ways (10 tickets) we each only get 850 back on our original investment of 1k
No Lotto was meant to spread money from user to user, and not split it up upon users.. If we did that we could get another kind of gambling plugin. It is a neat suggestion, but I dont think we should have it. Lotto is meant to direct al the money at one user, and not at a group basicly.
I don't get how this would even be considered a lottery anymore.. -1. I would never play lotto again if I had to share winnings with someone who had 50x more tickets than me.
What if somebody bought like 100 tickets? and the 1/96 chance magically happens? Thats $8,500 each right there. 8500+85000=93500 93500/11=8500
Wouldn't that mean you'd be making money? The point of this is for the majority to lose to the minority.
Then there would be really little risk. If you put 100 tickets and lost, normally you would lose 100k. With this, you would lose less than the 100k you put in if you lost. It's almost like a safe lotto, you never entirely lose.
Eh... I can kind of get what you're saying, but don't really think it should be implemented; it's really just taking money from those who put in a large amount of tickets and giving it back to those who put smaller amounts in.
Er, if we all put in 1 ticket, and there's 10 of us, we start losing cash. But if there's two of us, and 1 puts in 99k and the other puts in 1k then we'll both get half of 85k? Lol what's the point? As long as I knew I'd get more then 1k in return, people would always put in 1 ticket. Just doesn't really work with the way lotto is supposed to work...
How would it be fair if someone who bought 500 tickets had to split with someone who bought 1? Even if it was only 1/96 lottos?
Well to be fair, the 500 ticket person is going to be just as upset if he loses to a one ticketed completely.
