    Minecraft Name: Mr_Doom_Bringer

    Suggestion: Survival Games Moderator

Reason: I've seen so much complaints, and a lot of them, are from sg!

Any Other Information: I think there should be a new type of moderator added, a survival games moderator, a survival must have a survival game mod to view it and moderate

Link To This Plugin: N/A Add another rank called: SGModerator

There is no need for this in my opinion. If someone is breaking regular server rules and you see the felon doing so then you are more than welcome to get proof, either video or screen-shots. Which then, you should be able to post a complaint on the forums and staff will look at it and deal with it accordingly.

There is already too many staff ranks in my opinion (thats me) So, sorry -1

that would be pretty cool and get rid of most complaints in sg.
it could be like where they are almost like a ghost in a hunger games server: they fly and are invisible to real players but can see everything as if they were ingame

Not to mention the fact that this would need a ENTIRE new staff team just dedicated to this in order to moderate ALL arenas.

It'd be like a spawn time moderation, but a entire new team just to do so.

What can already be done to my knowledge is SuperMods+ (or maybe just GA's) can already do this, so there is really no point.

I don't play SG... yet... But I guess I'm wondering what the issue is with the way things are currently handled?

I think his issue is that there aren't many mods in sg. Otherwise, there is no problem.

take screenshots, file a complaint. We aren't going to get new staffmembers just for SG.

Or we could, you know, just have mods in game (if they have time) in arenas 2-4 (the most frequently played). They needn't stay for a whole game because 90% of issues occur in the time before the game starts. Any further issues could just be reported by current means.

Alright, so heres my opinion. There are several flaws with this idea.

    1) Having an entire separate staff team that just moderates a single, extremely small portion of ECC is silly. Why?
Pardon the sarcasm for a second. At this rate we need a staff member to go in every 500 block radius so that we can get all of 'local' chat covered too... The fact is there are countless other issues where a simple complaint solves the problem. A simple complaint also solves this. To top that off, most of those problems happen at the beginning of the game. If you poke a staff member they can still join in time to stop it.
    2) Cheating abound!
I say this because the fact of the matter is, they would be 'observers'. This means they could see any part of SG from anywhere/angle w/e. This could easily be abused with a Skype call, a TS chat, or even in game PM. "Hey, I saw ___ in Andrew mansion. He wasn't wearing anything enchanted. Easy target."

Essentially, we don't need this and it is likely to cause more problems then solve it. Would these 'super specific staff' members have access to all the information the normal staff have? Would they have all the same powers? Would they still technically be part of the same staff team? If not, do they get their own staff chat? It just seems pointless and overcomplicated to me.

    TL,DR

what type of person would want to sit around in sg arenas for 3+ hours a day? Let alone they arent even playing. Also, staff like to farm and make some sort of money while they are moderating. With this, theres no way of making money. the "SGModerator" joined ECC to make money... why would they give that up to watch sg games without any way to make money.

If anything there should be Forum Moderators before "SGModerator". Definitely no.
