Suggestion: A new way of making money, a new way of PvP'ing.
Reason: Lately the server has gotten extremely boring IMO. There is very little to do in regards to making money.. or honestly just having fun. Just recently has melon farming became popular, but before that it was just basically mining. SG died because of how Pay 2 win it was, and it's been driving new players off of the server ever since.
PvP from my experience was one of the biggest attractions on ECC and I think we should focus on that, but people like to say this isn't a PvP server. PvP can work on an economy server as it has, it just needs to be integrated with the Economy. PvP is fun, everyone likes it to an extent and i believe this is a way to bring back some of the joy on ECC, we need more to do, it's gotten really bland recently. There hasn't really been any events as well, other than crazy lotto's and from what i can see it's basically to get people to buy the lotto boosters.
There is only positives to doing this. Making this a way to make money and have fun. I'll be honest, sg has totally died becuase of how pay 2 win it has become, I do remeber the day it was said to never have kits or be pay to win, but now look at it! This is why we need something else, no one plays sg anymore, it's literally not worth it at this point. We need something new, but to bring back the REAL PvP aspect. Recently the PvP arena that many users including my self spent hardwork on was just removed and nothing was compensated for it.. .at all :(.
My suggestion is, as of now, to make a basic kit PvP server and reward money for kills, BAM..... PVP. I will say this again, no fking pay to win, for the love of it. Equal PvP. Give new players a reason to stay and have fun, instead of walking into sg and getting 1 hit by someone... really? This also gives PvP'rs a chance to ... PVP! Oh! and it also creates a more diverse economy, adding PvP into a way of making money, not this SG shit.
Any Other Information: This really isn't hard to do, I don't want to see anyone saying it is. It really isn't. It's basically if they want to implement something like this or not. The server has really become boring for a lot of us, and I think we need something else to do on ECC... just something new.
EDIT: Please for the love of it, if you are going to implement this, get help from PvPrs. Not good builders, or people with good design. We need functionality over design, trust me.
EDIT: I said PvP Server, meaning no Mcmmo. All equal.

I agree back in the day the PVP arena was really fun. It should defo come back. I also agree that there should be some more fun ways to make money as well as just some fun events and competitions with prizes

Personally I like the idea of adding in something fun that is also PvP related, if done properly (don't ignore the pvp community's suggestions when making it) then it would be really fun. As Ndm said too, it isn't that difficult to do, plugins exist already, PvP map's have been built (Ndm and I still have the save for 2 maps from the pvp world competition a while back/we rebuilt the old pvp world arena to be reused), and there are plenty of pvp'ers that would gladly help balance it. I think all in all, it's a step in the right direction for the server, we gotta keep it interesting to sustain a large community.

+1 would really like to see pvp. and with the basic KitPvp aspect it means I could learn to pvp again. instead of going into Sg. Learning nothing and getting absolutely rekted by someone who has Bfr. I hope this can be introduced. but who knows. alot of things seem to be a little up in the air right now.

A simple, basic kit PVP shouldn't need any custom coding, or much at all... ECC should already have everything available plugin-wise to make one in a couple of days. Map, however - maps for simple kit PVP can sometimes make-or-break the fun of it. Getting a map would be the challenge. Having one built specifically for a simple kit PVP by true PVPers is the best way to go there. (Been here, done this. Simple kit PVP worked out quite well.)
Simple is fun. Simple is also really easy to learn and nice for new users.
Pay2win for PVP never really works, which is why a lot of the big and successful minigames servers don't dare to touch it.-
