lets face it. the only people against kits are the people who use them. and if you dont like that you have to pay to use your kits, then why not have a no kit arena for the rest of us who don't like to get 1 shot just becuase some rich person donated money for kits or had some other rich person donate for them. Or any other suggestion to nerf them because thats what it comes down to. it just isnt fair to the rest of us who dont have 500 dollars to spend or have someone willing to buy it for them. thats the stark reality. be thankful your able to make any profit whatsoever. Just put the time and effort and work into refunding everyone.. And for anyone who says "its too much work," it would bring back players and make the server player count greater. as it is right now the player count just keeps dropping and dropping and dropping. Dont beleive me? check the statistics. over the last two years the player count has dropped 300+ players. Pretty soon there will be no profit to be made becuase there wont be enough players to sg and stuff. so in essence your hurting and damaging the server for shortterm profit.

I know these are just a few of the kits, and I just now came up with these off the top of my head, but I think these values would be fair to charge at the beginning of the game... If you're a typical MIQ++/Bfr++/PF++/Hnt++ user, that's a $105 ECD charge per kit game. Either get at least a kill in a game, or win the game, or use a couple less kits. Profit.

Of course the numbers are just ideas, and if anything, I think we should decrease them a little. Either way, I like the idea behind this suggestion, but then again kit users did pay a bunch of ECD or USD for their kits... If this was added, we'd need a relatively small tax to respect that. And, of course, refund people if it ends up being a no-kit match.

Ok, so I see where you are coming from with this, however if there was to be a kit free arena, EVERYONE without kits would play in that arena and no other one that did still allow kits meaning that in the kit arenas, you would have an arena full of kitters and the point of buying kits is so that the player has an advantage over the other players. So if there was to be a kit free arena, there would be no people without kits in the other arenas meaning the people who have paid money to have an advantage in sg no longer have that advantage due to everyone having kits in the kit arenas that would be left.

And yes the only people who are against kits are the people without them, however I am on ECC for many hours per day and at certain points during this time, no one is/wants to sg. And by this what I am trying to say is that there are always times in the day that there are no kitters doing sg (sometimes you just need to come online not at the peak sg time) and everyone complains about how kitters "don't ever leave sg" but most of the day no one sg's anyway (also, if you don't agree with kits, save up some money in game or irl and buy some and see if you still hate the idea of kits when you own them)

Also you said "your hurting and damaging the server for short term profit" however I think that kits are one of the most popular sales on the store every week/month, so without kits in ECC, the server might not have been able to keep up and running for as long as it has so far. And yes ECC isn't as popular as it used to be back when there were 300+ players online, however the hub is coming soon, which will bring a lot of new people to ECC and Jamie has said that all the new things that will be added will most likely not have any kits added to them and sg isn't going to have any more kits added either, so soon there will be other games you can play on ECC without kits if you all really don't like so that much.

 

ORRRR, and hear me out on this, ikik its crazay! We don't charge people in game $ to use stuff they spent their hard earned $ on! Imagine a builder, he buys cc+ and pf+. He doesn't have much $, he's been playing Ecc for oh let's say 3 days. He is not the best pvper, and loses every game/most games to "advanced" pvper' with more kits, essentially losing $ for buying kits. If you can show me the logic in that, I'll support this suggestion 100%. Sadly, there is no logic, so my opinion will remain the same. I understand your some what neutral, but the part of you which agrees with this is why I posted.

You're assuming that all kitters have the same kits. You still have an advantage one way or another, but it may not be the same as kitter vs non-kitter advantage.

 

I despise people when they say things like this lol, there are tactics against kits, learn to use them and stop complaining about them.

They were invented for a reason, and they make a ton of money for the server, they won't be removed any time soon, so you better get used to them. It's not even that hard in all honesty, if it's bfr, run it out, go up a ladder, up nether and hit them down whenever they come up, yeah I get its trickier, but that's what kits are. They give you an advantage as their meant to do.

Every day I see tons of complaints of 'no kits they suck ' etc, and most of the time it's not even builders but residents or mayors without kits, and possibly even higher up ranks.

To get these kits we either worked for our money hard irl, or we worked hard in game to receive ECD to pay for these kits. Whether you like it or not, we're going to use them. There are kit frees for a reason. Which brings me into my next point. Whenever someone complains 'no kits' and it turns into a no kit match, they still lose, like seriously if you're gonna complain for a kit free match at least win it and prove that you're good enough to win without kits when we all don't have kits, lol.

But yeah, people just have to accept kits and get on with them, honestly im tired of seeing the same old crap from the same players. Learn to work with it, or even better, do something else than sg. It's not for everyone.

2. I like to abuse non kitters?... A very pathetic biased opinion. Your welcome to ask around if your going to jump quick to conclusions, something they teach you not to do by the 3rd grade. I prefer no kit games of anything. I like the challenge, I like gathering my own stuff. I even ask the lobby of I don't see any of the "big kitters" in the lobby "no kit game", if unanimous, I won't spawn my kits in. Also, the reason I don't no kit every single game, I use them because I worked for them. Maybe if you spent a little less time judging me and 80% of the community, and a little more time working for $, and buying kits from other users, your "opinion" wouldn't be so biased and just so so wrong...
